The Paraíba Aquarium plays an important role in the conservation of endangered species through breeding programs in a controlled environment and in environmental education, showing the importance of species and the role they play in nature. We also seek, through scientific research, to increase our knowledge of animals.
In addition to Environmental Education, Aquário Paraíba considers inseparable from the activity of an aquarium – of a zoological nature – an effective contribution, direct and/or indirect, to the Conservation of Nature.
Since its creation, the Paraíba Aquarium has sought to actively participate in the field of conservation of aquatic life, its species and its habitats.
